Chelsea and Mitchell had a wonderful November wedding on the St. Thomas campus and at the Loews Hotel in Minneapolis. To see how touched Chelsea is when she started to read her letter from Mitchell, I think really shows their deep love for each other. Some wedding days are energetic, some emotional, and Chelsea and Mitchell’s wedding embodied the best of both. Their beautiful November University of St. Thomas wedding and Loews Hotel wedding reception in downtown Minneapolis was awash in all the heart swells, joyful tears, and love-filled sweetness.

Love abounded between Chelsea and Mitchell from the get-go – in the way they spoke about one another, the almost hushed excitement in their voices, and the real warmth that seemed to beam from within them. Some of the most gut-wrenching moments came early — starting out with Chelsea in a room to read a letter that Mitchell wrote. Tears filled her eyes as she tore open the envelope and started reading. The feeling was raw, it was beautiful and it was human — a thrilling insight into how deeply they were connected.

Chelsea & Mitchell Chelsea and Mitchell’s love runs deeper than meets the eye. Their relationship is built on mutual respect, admiration, and comfort — and their wedding day was a tear-jerking testament to that. “Every passing moment was so important,” she recalled, “from the smallest little thing to the biggest thing.”

The service was conducted on the picturesque campus of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Its classic architecture, walkways lined with trees and old-fashioned feel were perfect for Chelsea and Mitchell to start forever. They spoke their vows in a peaceful, spiritual setting surrounded by friends and family — a lot of them. Their words were sincere and genuine, and the sentiment in the room was palpable. Every look, every tear and every smile narrated how these were not two people getting married — but two individuals traversing towards a collective definitive future — in every sense of the word.

Afterward, the party made its way to downtown Minneapolis at the chic Loews Hotel. The Loews, with its sleek feel, impressive city vistas, and contemporary decor were the perfect juxtaposition to the classic nature of their ceremony. Here was where the life of the night came to life.

The reception area took my breath away — glowing candlelight, beautiful florals and purposeful details all came together to bring Chelsea and Mitchell’s vision to life. The room was filled with happiness the instant the couple walked in. Their first dance was sweet and emotional, an interlude of calm in the whirl of the day.

I never will, and although that is all that matters, I also couldn’t have asked for a better speech to follow — touching words from family and friends who have seen Chelsea and Mitchell grow up independently — and together. Their sweet stories were full of the humor, love, and admiration, that made everyone in that room realize just how unique this partnership is.

The party didn’t slow down as the night raged on. The dance floor was full, the music was a flowin’ and the laughter and love in the room could only come from a seriously good time had by all. Chelsea and Mitchell’s wedding was not just a ceremony and a reception — it was an event. A day where love, family and friends all converged in an incredible unfolding of beauty.
