Everything comes together just right on some wedding days — a beautiful combination of emotion, celebration and beautiful moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. Anna and Henry’s wedding, which took place on August 7, 2015, was precisely that. With an elegant ceremony at St. Joan of Arc Church and a fun and modern reception at Café and Bar Lurcat, this Minneapolis wedding exudes classic beauty, sweet sentiment, and all-around good times.

The buzz was in the air starting the morning of. Anna and Henry, on the other hand, as a couple feel carefree with one another — based on trust, laughter and a deep emotional connection. Their wedding day was yet another testament to that connection. From intimate, tender moments to epic celebration, every single part of their day told a story of two people who were 100 % made for each other.

The service was at the historic and warm St. Joan of Arc Church in the Minneapolis. The church is a very warm environment and has a modern and open feeling, perfect for Anna and Henry to share their personal vows with their nearest and dearest. Anna gracefully walked down the aisle; the moment Henry spotted her, he burst into the brightest smile. Their ceremony was very personal — featuring touching readings, heartfelt vows, and more than a few happy tears.

Religious belief and a strong sense of solidarity provided a solid foundation for the spiritual development of the couple. Hand in hand they stood at the alter and there was a hush over the room — this was a moment that everyone knew was something truly special. It was a celebration of light, of love, and of forever.

Following the ceremony, guests headed to the stylish Café and Bar Lurcat, situated near Loring Park in downtown Minneapolis. This contemporary venue was the ideal combination of city glam and personal touches. The feel was very romantic and picturesque, which was perfect for Anna and Henry with its grand windows, chandeliers, and looking out over the park.

The cocktail hour was filled with laughter and warm conversation. Their attention to the details was apparent with everything from the decor and dinner menu down to the perfect last dance reflected their style and love for one another. The beautiful, homey surroundings and seasonal fare made it feel like an elegant dinner party full of love and warmth.

There were incredibly emotional toasts from friends and family covering the couple’s story — how they met, the hurdles that they triumphed over, and the deep respect that they draw from those around them. Every speech felt like one more layer in their journey and a testament to just how strong and real their connection was.

As the sun went down and the lights dimmed, the atmosphere turned full-on celebration. Anna and Henry shared a graceful, teary eyed first dance followed by a packed dance floor of party people of all ages crescendoing the evening. From laughter to happy tears, all in attendance felt as though they were a part of something larger — a love story that was truly worth celebrating.
