Appesh & Desiree had a wonderful wedding at the lovely The Concourse Hotel in Madison, WI on 6/20/15.

There’s something really remarkable about a wedding day that mixes tradition, class, and genuine emotion — and Appesh & Desiree’s wedding on July 11, 2015, inside the beautiful Concourse Hotel in Madison, Wisconsin, was all of that and then some. Their celebration in the heart of downtown Madison was a stunning mix of love, family, and joy — the kind of day that I know everyone who was there will treasure for years to come.

It was the start of a big day. Surrounded by the bright energy of some of her closest friends laughter, happy chatter, and a few teary eyes, Desiree got ready with her bridesmaids in a room at The Concourse Hotel, it really hit her. “She was positively beaming — the dress, the details and that smile were all perfectly in sync with her elegant, dazzling spirit. Meanwhile, Appesh was preparing with his groomsmen, laughing, tying ties and raising a glass to the day to come.

Nuzzled up to the State Capitol and Lake Mendota, The Concourse Hotel was the perfect setting for their Madison wedding! Hauled in for the day, the venue was an appropriate one for a day full of love and try meaning — with love being the mission of the Hulls and all their family and friends. The couple’s ceremony had a lot of love and reverence — a testament to their strong values and deep connection.

Desiree made an entrance and everyone was in awe. Appesh said it all in his face — the love, the gratitude, the outsize pleasure of watching his bride walk toward him. Their ceremony was so personal with sentimental vows, emotional readings, and the love of their closest family and friends. There were tears, laughter and the type of real connection that you just can’t script.

The guests proceeded to an evening reception in the hotel after the ceremony. The room became an intimate elegant and romantic vibe with soft lighting, gorgeous flowers, and personalized touches that spoke for the couple. From the seating chart to the derrière escort cards to the table decor, everything was a reflection of Appesh and Desiree— thoughtful, modern, and full of love.

Friends and family gave warm toasts that kicked the reception into full speed. Each speech was a reflection of the couple’s journey — how they met, the laughter they’ve shared, the hardships they have helped each other overcome. It was obvious with every word spoken that these two not only love each other with all their hearts, but they also are best friends and the greatest teammates for one another.

One of the most emotional moments was their first dance, a perfect mix of class and grace and just plain emotion that had everyone laughing mouth-agape and crying at the same time. As night fell, music and movement took over the dance floor. From organized routines to impromptu twirls, the night was awash in the sort of celebratory energy that only real love — and community — can bring.
